About Dr. Simister
Dr. Douglas Simister's passion for creating exceptional smiles led him to the field of orthodontics after eight years as a general dentist. Inspired by the transformative results he witnessed in his own patients, he established his own practice in 2007, taking over for the retiring Dr. Richard Frye. Dr. Simister finds immense satisfaction in crafting smiles that people love and making a positive impact on his patients' lives.
With a calm and compassionate approach, Dr. Simister and his dedicated staff strive to provide an exceptional orthodontic experience for every patient. They are committed to delivering outstanding service and creating a welcoming environment where patients feel comfortable and confident throughout their treatment journey.
Education & Residency
Dr. Simister received his DDS from Creighton University in 1997 and his Orthodontic Certificate from the UNLV School of Dental Medicine in 2007.
Memberships & Certifications
Dr. Simister is a member of the American Association of Orthodontists and is Invisalign Certified.
Outside the Office
Dr. Simister is an avid outdoorsman. He enjoys riding his horses, going on hikes, taking his snowmobile for a spin, and relaxing at the beach.
